Hello

Does anyone still use this club?  It seems like there has been no activity since school started.

I use plastic shoe boxes as mailboxes in their cubbies. Each child has his/her own cubbie. It is a great place to sort mail going home and to store items not finished which need to be completed at a later time. Hope this helps.

Core curriculum standards

In my district we were always required to write the standard # ex. CCCS 3.1in our lesson plans. The new standards that many states, including mine, have adopted so not have numbers, letters or anything to denote that you are teaching that standard. How do you put it in your plans. I don't think our admin. has realized it yet. Suggestions?See More

Do you really like the chair pockets? I have been considering figuring out a way to make them. The cubbies I have are plastic stacking bins.

Suzanne, We have cubbies and use them for the students. They keep their crayon box (with crayons, scissors, glue sticks, pencils, erasers, etc) in there. My kiddos also put their lunch boxes in their cubby when they arrive. It's a great place…

Cubbies - Keep to use or store?

I was reassigned for the upcoming school year to Kindergarten.  After much cleaning and throwing out (unbelievable some of the things you will find in filing cabinets and closets) I am debating on using cubbies for the students to keep stuff in.  I was wondering what other kindergarten teachers use in their classrooms.  Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!SuzanneSee More
